The school year is just about over and the spring term of piano lessons is too.
The summer term (June-August) is about to begin and my hope is that you will continue taking lessons.
Here are a few excellent reasons why:
Advantages of Taking Summer Piano Lessons
1) Students have more time to practice in the summer and will gain more proficiency in a shorter time.
A summer without lessons means a summer without practice because most students will not continue to practice
if they don't have their weekly lesson time with their teacher. Without practice, not only does the student
fail to maintain his skills, but the skills degenerate. Once fall arrives, the student is behind where he
was when summer started and will have to spend 3-4 weeks doing review work to get back to where he was before summer started.
2) Students retain their timeslot for the fall term. Teachers start getting calls in July for fall piano lessons so
their timeslots get filled up rather quickly. By continuing lessons through the summer students are guaranteed to
keep their timeslot for the fall term.
3) Flexibility for busy families. There is an optional per lesson summer flex plan where you can
choose a minimum of eight dates to attend from your regular piano schedule. These individually scheduled
lessons make it possible to schedule your piano lessons around your summer plans.
4) It's fun! Practice for Prizes Rewards is back this summer where students get prizes just for practicing piano. Details to follow...
Tuition is $65 per month and you'll continue to receive your monthly invoice OR you can choose the optional per lesson summer flex-plan.
A minimum of 8 lessons would be required to be scheduled over the summer term at $24 per lesson. The lessons would be at your regular scheduled
time but you would choose the weeks you would attend lessons.
The deadline for choosing the summer monthly tuition plan or per lesson flex plan is May 15. For more information about the summer tuition plan,
